About Diane:

Diane’s dancing over the last 25 years includes west coast swing, salsa, swing (jitterbug/east coast swing), ballroom, Latin, country-western and hustle. She has also been an artistic roller skating judge and competitor. Diane has taught various styles of dancing for 17 years in both group classes and private lessons. She holds placements in various competitions in west coast swing, salsa, swing, country-western two-step, west coast swing, foxtrot, waltz and tango. She has participated in USA Dance/United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance Certification Training Seminar in standard [ballroom] dance, United Country Western Dance Council Judges’ Seminars and holds a Certificate of Completion of Basic Accreditation Program of National Teachers Association for Country Western Dance. Diane is a member of National Teachers Association for Country Western Dance, United Country Western Dance Council, USA Dance, Delaware Valley Shag & Swing Club, Jersey Shore Ballroom Dance Club and National Callers Association; she also maintains licensing by ASCAP and BMI.

Diane regularly teaches beginner to intermediate level classes in salsa/Latin, swing (jitterbug/east coast swing), foxtrot, waltz, west coast swing, hustle, country-western two-step and social dancing for weddings and similar occasions. She has also taught workshops in nightclub two-step, polka and general dance technique, as well as private lessons in all of the above and more, including preparation for a wedding couple’s first dance. Diane’s dancing and teaching backgrounds are equally suited to those who are attending for a wedding or similar occasion, those who just want to learn a little for social dancing and those who want to enhance their dance techniques. All of her lessons emphasize technique and becoming a good leader or follower, not just learning steps/moves. Diane also specializes in working with LGBT students in both group classes and private lessons.
